Tylan has been performing for nearly 20 years. From school shows to professional stock theatres, he is no stranger to the spotlight. He trained with multiple professors through South Dakota State University, Northern State University, and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Tylan has worked under many hats throughout the theatrical world including on stage, back stage, and directorial roles. Aside from the spotlight, his favorite aspect of theatre is set design! Tylan has worked on material from Stephen Sondheim to Jason Robert Brown to Alan Menkin. He has even produced some of his own original work.
Tylan has been educating young performers since his days in a summer stock theatre that held camps for young artists to learn with the pros and make their very own show. His career continued by working in the scene shop while at AMDA. He has also taught piano voice and guitar at iDance with Miss Mikaila. Tylan specializes in pop/rock theatre voice, piano, drums, and guitar! He is always looking forward to empowering the future of performing arts.
